Our Mission & Purpose
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
It is the vision of Revival Time Center to provide a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT
Revival Time Center seeks to glorify God by reaching people for Christ, ministering to the needs of all, providing opportunities for people to grow in Christ, enjoying the fellowship of one another, and worshipping together.
OUR STATEMENT OF MINISTRY
We want our church to be a community whose members corporately and individually put into effect the threefold priority of God which is:
1. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind;
2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself;
3. Support the work of God in the World.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
...the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (1 Timothy 3:16,17).
...there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the
Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19).
...in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
...in His virgin birth.
...in His sinless life.
...in His miracles,
...in His vicarious and atoning death.
...in His bodily resurrection
...in His ascension to the right hand of the father.
...in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Luke 24:39; Acts 1:9).
...in the blessed hope - the rapture of the church at Christ's coming (1 Thess 4:16, 17; Titus 2:12).
...the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (John 3:3; Ephesians 2:8).
...regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation
(Romans 8:16; Ephesians 4:23, 24; Titus 2:12).
...the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:4, 5).
...the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
...in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy
life (Romans 6:1-14).
...in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Revelation chapters 19, 20, and 21:8)
